Dr Harmeet Singh - Veterinary Director

Harmeet graduated in 2000 from Massey University and joined our team in 2001. Since then Harmeet has completed a course in Surgery through Post Graduate Foundation from University of Sydney, Harmeet enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine.
Harmeet is Veterinary Director of South Auckland Veterinary and is enjoying working with the team at this level.
At home Harmeet enjoys sport, spending time with his family, gardening and travel.
Gaylene McKay - Team leader

Gaylene has been part of the team since 1998. Gaylene feels she is privileged to be working with a great team of experience Veterinarians and Veterinary Nurses at South Auckland Veterinary Hospital.
Gaylene enjoys meeting and greeting all clients and is a great advocate for pets and owners.
At home Gaylene enjoys reading, music, travel and spending time with her family including furry pets, Comet & Blue.
Dr Kurt Wolsky - veterinarian

Kurt has been part of the great team at South Auckland Veterinary Hospital for nearly 10 years. Kurt graduated at Pretoria University in 1997 and went on to work in companion animal practices in England and South Africa before coming to NZ. Kurt has completed a post graduate veterinary certificate and is now studying towards his Masters at Massey University. Kurt enjoys working up medical and surgical cases.
Outside of work Kurt enjoys spending time with his family where two young boys six and four years of age keep him busy.
Kurt also enjoys running, gardening and bush walks with the family.
Dr Sue Grant - veterinarian

Sue graduated from Massey University in 1980 and joined the team at South Auckland Veterinary Hospital in 1987. Sue has always had a passion and desire to be a veterinarian from a very young age. Her Nana made her a white apron with a blue cross. Sue enjoys general practice and has a keen interest in Orthopaedics. Sue enjoys helping pet parents to care for their fur-friends and at home has an elderly Abyssinian, Kerri.
Dr Rebecca Coote - veterinarian

Rebecca joined us straight from Massey University, Vet School when she graduated in 2008. Rebecca has become a member of the team and enjoys all areas of small animal medicine and surgery.
Rebecca has a Miniature Schnauzer called Maddison…Maddy for short.
Hayley Walker - diploma veterinary nurse & inpatient coordinator

Hayley joined us in 2009 as a qualified Veterinary Nurse, then went on to become a Diploma Veterinary Nursing from Wintec, Hamilton. Hayley enjoys feline and canine behaviour and is currently running our puppy preschool classes at South Auckland Veterinary Hospital, Hayley is also looking forward to starting up behaviour consults.
Hayley is enjoying her new role within the clinic as Inpatient Coordinator and looks forward to supporting the team.
At home Hayley is surrounded by her 3 cats, bunny and a recent new member to the family "Lucy" the Jack Russell X.
Liz Prior - veterinary nurse

Liz joined us straight from graduating with distinction from Vet Nurse plus in 2007. At home Liz has three cats and two dogs Boo a Chihuahua and Nova a hairless Chinese Crested. Outside of work Liz enjoys art, gaming and watching scary movies.
Kellie Blundell - veterinary nurse
Kellie joined us straight from graduating with distinction from Vet Nurse plus in 2010. Kellie loves engaging with clients and helping with any questions or concerns they may have. Kellie lives wit her 3 year old Chihuahua, Sonic and her new 4 month old kitten, Kitty. Kellie has a special interest in puppy and kitten behaviour.
Lesia Wildbore - diploma veterinary nurse

Lesia joined us in April 2010 as a Diploma Veterinary Nurse. Lesia shares her time working here and at our Pet Doctors At Animates Manukau clinic. Lesia lives at home with her 3 Chihuahua’s, Sophie, Isabel and Jack plus her senior cat Tammy. Lesia enjoys working as a Veterinary Nurse and spending time with pet’s and their owners. In her spare time Lesia enjoys voluntary work at the local Riding for the disabled where she spends time with both horses and children.
